How’s your summer so far?
Good news here: Your ÄÄ’s Summer Release is about to drop very soon!

I’m pinging you today to give you a lil’ heads-up:

The day ÄÄ becomes more Cosmopolitan than ever!
Let me share some hints about what’s coming and also – why not? – give you a small behind-the-scenes peek at my summer here in Bavaria.

P.S. Summer is great, but I know that driven, ambitious people like you and me sometimes struggle with internal conflicts between working toward goals vs. daring to take a break. Let me share a lovely moment around that: A business contact informed me via WhatsApp that they’d put us on a really cool recommendation list. I replied (late) that I was in Spain enjoying some foodie exploration. Her answer:
“I sooo very much celebrate you for taking time off.”
Taking a good solid break did indeed wonders for me. If you’re still wondering whether that’s okay to take a break, take that as an inspo – or, maybe take major winner Scottie Scheffler’s word for it. “The accomplishment feels great for 2 minutes, but there is more that really makes you happy. So: About the new summer release
One request kept coming up this year, and at first it seemed a bit unusual:
“Can we have ÄÄ in our own language, please?”
Interesting, right? In the world of software tools, it’s usually accepted that everything exists in English – and that’s it.
But we’re talking about a creative process here.
In this crazy world, your focus is more valuable than ever.
Working in an interface that uses your native language simply reduces brainload.
So here’s our August 1st answer:
From now on:
Choose your own work language
English + now: 🇫🇷 Français / 🇪🇸 Español / 🇩🇪 Deutsch
And there’s more that makes us call it the
“Barefoot + Borderless Summer Release”
(does that sound like the Apéro is already included, or what…?)
For example:
- cultural calendar markups,
- Mägic Ed even better at helping with language versions and draft-to-caption magic,
- plus territory mapping that actually makes sense for global brands
- AND MORE!
Overall (and as always):
Less brainload means more space for creativity, more space for brand focus.

Summer simply as a human
As you might know, I live with my husband south of Munich, close to the Bavarian lakes. The Starnberger See, to be exact. Summer is typically calm for business travel, so my camera roll easily fills up with pics like this…
Can you guess where the “barefoot” inspo comes from? 😉
And let me share one of my favorite summer moments:
My dear hubby and me sundowning at the Ammersee, at the Froschgartl (the link takes you to Google Maps, but shhh – do not tell anyone! ;)).
Since their name (frog + Bavarian: garden) contains ‘frog,’ they sell those frog-shaped gums you see in the picture.
You’d be surprised how well they go with a Weinschorle*! LOL
*Weinschorle = a white wine mixed with sparkling water. Needs to be chill, then is super refreshing and just a lightfooted summer favourite in Southern Germany (it’s not just all beer! ;))
